Schweigert coarse ground natural casing hotdogs are my go to.

It is like crack. Has that Asian food sauce flavor like it's loaded with MSG but it isn't

Hot dog has to be a Nathan's!

I like a good chili dog. I get my favorite chili (preferably deer chili) & put a table spoon full in each compartment of an egg carton (lined with plastic wrap). I freeze these to make "single-serve-chili-pods". For a quick lunch I can microwave a dog, bun, "chili-pod", kraut packet & add mustard. You'll need plenty of napkins for eating if you do it right!!

I like to slice the dog lengthwise leaving it attached at the bottom then black it up in the pan. Holds the chili better without it falling out of the bun.

Look at the label. If it says "MAY INCLUDE MEAT" it is suspect...
Go now and pour yourself a hot one...

Here in the Buffalo NY area Sahlens hot dogs are a leading brand. I send them and our local Webers horse radish mustard to my daughter in Missouri, they all love them. Locally we have this Texas sauce that can be bought fully prepared as in the pic or a packet of spices that you add 4oz. ground beef and boiling water. As you can see I'm lazy. https://www.amazon.com/Texas-Buffalo.../dp/B0058J5FZ8
