Question Lee loader 25-35, bullet seater stuck

Like it says, its stuck, looks to quite rusted. Stop collar threads have a good ring of a red rust. As well as looking under the primer seater on the bullet seater it has rust in it. I don't really want to use a punch from the other end to punch it out and risk damaging the bullet seater. I will probably douse it in penetrating oil over night, and try to twist it back and forth getting the oil in there, until loosens up. Wish me luck!

Doused! Now there's a word I haven't heard in years. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over.
A few days of penetrating oil may do it. If not, try a little heat. Endeavor to persevere.

Or acetone and Auto Trans oil. I use douse frequently, as in “douse the lights”. It’s a very useful word. Just don’t get confused and get soused!

Late night so thought I might tell you how it went. It went well, used a 1/2" wood dowel rod and a semi dead blow hammer, the ones with some sand. After soaking it overnight in penetrating oil. Held the die in one hand upside down, in the same hand held the rod against the flat spot on the bottom of the seater. Then gave it a few smacks till it sounded different. Well I wasn't too bright and smacked again at the same power and sent it flying. So much for not damaging it, a good laugh though.

Then came the derusting. I made a rust remover from beyondballistics on youtube. Highly recommend if you enjoy fixing up guns in poor condition.
    1 liter of water
    100grams of citric acid
    63 grams baking soda
    Some dish soap
Then left it in there for 30 minutes, scrubbed to show another rust layer, then rinse and repeat, though I switched to every hour, until it looked good. Dried then as best as I could with paper towel. At the end used a hair dryer to dry off the dies as well as getting them really hot, then throwing them in a bag of that penetrating oil, since I couldn't find WD40 for once in my life. Now just need to let it sit overnight dispersing whatever moisture was left, and to make sure the metal soaks up some oil since the solution made the metal very dry. Then dry it off, put a coat of gun oil on it and then presto you can look at it because you just spent all your money on another gun leaving none for reloading supplies.
    Thank you all.
