    Used Magna caster price range?

I got a call from a lady whose husband passed a few years ago and she’s clearing out his shop in preparation to sell the house.

It’s an eight mold magma caster that looks like it has made many many many bullets. A large assortment of molds And various other accessories, spare parts. Etc. I’m not interested in starting a bullet casting business unless I could find someone who actually wants to run the machine.

I’ve seen mold sets advertised for $400 in 2012. No prices for the caster itself.

I sold the previous three Bullet Masters I refurbished for $5k-$7K depending on which version it is, condition and number of mold sets they wanted. Better hope it doesn't need parts as they are no longer USA made.

He was a reloader, although I think it’s been a while since . I did buy some powder and brass from her a year ago, none of the powder was purchased this millennium, mostly metal cans.

    You have a bullet master.
Depending on condition and the number of complete mold sets it could be worth between $5k to $10k

There is a Facebook group for Magma machine users called "Magma bullet casting equipment owners". Lots of guys on there from across the world. They might be interested in your machine, or if you want to use it, they are a great source of info and advice. Many of the guys on there actually run their machines as part of their bullet business, so they are intimately familiar.

Also, if you look on Facebook Marketplace, there are currently at least 3 other Magma Bullet Masters for sale across the nation. 2 are in Texas and one in Pennsylvania. Current prices on those are about $7000 for a bare machine with nothing else, while the one in PA. is selling for $12000, but comes with sets of molds and an automated lubrisizer.
