    My Rossi R92 454 Casull

    I have had me 454 Casull for quite a little while, I have her finally all fixed up. It took me a while because honestly I have to cut down all my rifles to a 12.5" LOP and this one is no exception. I delayed it because I was nervous about the shape of the stock (top being flat along with the butt pad). Now she is cut to LOP that fits me, and I after seeing another poster that did the same thing but he rounded the top of the stock (excellent work by the way) I decided finally to tackle mine.

    Here is the list of changes made to make her mine.

    1. Cut LOP to 12.5" and reshaped stock and butt pad.
    2. Lighter ejection spring
    3. Replaced front sight to accommodate the Rear taller sight
    4. Replaced rear sight to my favorite Marbles Bullseye Sight
    5. Triple K Deluxe Sling Swivel
    6. Striped finish off of stock and finished in a lighter stain to show the grain with wax finish to seal. ( I like the feel of the warm wood)
    7. Marlin Safety Delete Saddle ring

    Nice I reshaped the stocks added a Scout Scope mount to my 480 Ruger. I have both the carbine and rifle. I also painted the stocks black with textured stock paint. Nice little lever guns for sure.

    You should, took mine out this last weekend and fired about 30 rounds through it. It definitely has some punch and fun to shoot. Wallops those steel plates and your shoulder. Left a little bit of a bruise that has already gone away. Glad to have mine.
