T/C New Englander 12 gauge..

I found a T/C New Englander 12 gauge barrel, and bought it quick.

it appears brand new, but is missing the ramrod..

does anyone have the specifications for the ram rod ? diameter, length, and thread size for attachments ?
is the loading tip flared like for a 50 caliber, or flat ?

and does anyone have a factory manual that I can get a copy of ? Please

Track of the Wolf has ramrods and parts to make one of any size needed.

I think it is the same ramrod they used in the 50 cal. It has to fit in the ramrod pipes after all, and they used the same stock.

My T/C is not marked New Englander and has a rib added. The rod is 28” and a flared end. See pic

My NE rod is 29" long, and 0 .355" dia. It has the flat end and a threaded end for cleaning attachments. See photos. I have a book around somewhere but it may take some digging to find it. If I do I'll shoot you an e-file of it.

the picture of the rod held in the vice; is that end threaded 5/16" for most shot gun jags and brushes ?
about what is the diameter of the opposite end ? and is it threaded 10-32 ? are these rods aluminum then ?

The end in vice is standard shotgun 5/16-27 and large flat end dia is 0.611" with a standard 10/32 bp jag hole. The rod is wood probably hickory but don't hold me to that.

My wood knowledge is simply how fast a 032 Stihl will cut thru a 24" pine log. lol

I printed up the TC muzzleloading owner's manual some time back. No idea where I found it. 90 pages total for all types of ML.

Unfortunately, our printer was just about out of all inks so my pages are not very good. If you narrow what is important (just the shotgun parts?) I can print and snail mail that to you. For me it was better to have a poor-quality manual than none at all. The .54 load data was very helpful.
