For those of you shooting Lee's R.E.A.L. boolits, what kind of lube are you using, and are you using any type of wad? Thanks for your time.

I use Thompson Center Bore butter but I think it was discontinued. I think you can make a copy with beeswax and vegetable oil. No wad.
I have been using "unsalted" Crisco type for years. Has worked well for me. Rifle is the Lyman Great plains 54 cal.
T/C Bore Butter (old supply)- no wad.
I use my own BP bullet lube; 5 parts Bees wax to 4 parts olive oil. I've some commercial felt wads and my own cut felt wads to test. Just haven't gotten around to it yet. I shoot both the 250 and 325 gr 50 cal REALs out of my TC Blk Mtn Magnum.

That sounds like the Harris formula. I use it too.
I use 45% lamb fat, 45% beeswax, 5% castor oil and 5% lanolin for everything. Because it has always worked well for me. Including those REAL slugs.
Actually, it's from Spence Wolf. His was 50/50. I use a bit more beeswax as it's a little more solid in the hotter desert temps here.
