Are the RCBS trimmer and pro-trimmer basically the same thing? Can I attach an RCBS Trim Pro case neck trimmer attachment onto the standard case trimmer?

Yes they updated the old collet style trimmer and they used to sell the conversion parts , same machine but the trim pro is sweet and easy to use , shell holders are a quick swap but are case specific .
Edit to add the trim pro 2 is the latest model and it uses a universal shell holder , I have not felt the need to get that as universal has always seemed to be less then the best in my experience .
