Single 0.600 inch round ball in 12 gauge

Those wad petals look as though they squeezed the balls enough to extrude a bit. Are they that thick?

They do look good.

How was accuracy?

Did shooting take any of that fouling out of the bore?

The shot cup portion of the wad is stepped at the mouth. Almost like a pottery flower pot. There are eight ribs inside that line up with the hinges of the four wad petals. The 0.600” round ball fits just right in my opinion. I picked up three wads without taking a step. They were that close together.

Accuracy today? I don’t know. I can’t see well enough with the sights. I’ve got a different smoothbore with a 3x9 scope, so I can see when I use it.

No. Shooting these today had no effect on the fouling that was in the rifled barrel.
