I purchased this Tisas D10 10mm 1911 for $600 a few months ago and am amazed every time I take it out of the safe and bring it to the range.
First; it's a crap Turkish pistol made in a backwater Muslim country with sporadic build quality standards and likely using forges powered by camel dung. How can it possibly even function properly? Second, it is priced at roughly half what a normal 1911 with the same features built in the Philippines or USA would go for.
Now, I just looked up the latest prices, and they have gone up to about $725, but that is still a bargain.
