I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.

Looking for a Hensly &Gibbs #258 any thing from a two cavity to a 10cavityI found a new one from a member here
Reading this thread the other day got me thinking about this article. I had to go through my old magazines to find it. Once I did I found a scanned copy here. This article is a must for anyone handloading the 44 Special.

JDGabbard's Feedback Thread
Jdgabbard's very own boolit boxes pattern!
GOA and FPC have done more in the last decade than your NRA has done in it's entire existence... Support the ones that actually do something for you.
The stainless 5 1/2" gun came in yesterday. I haven't had time to give it much of an inspection yet, but it looks to be in similarly nice condition. The rear sight is off center to the right a good bit, but not to the extent of the 45 Colt gun. We'll see where it hits for me when I get to shoot it. I was very surprised about the perceived size difference between the 4 5/8 barrel and the 5 1/2" barrel. When I first opened the box yesterday, for a moment I thought they sent me the wrong gun. With the longer barrel, it looked like a full size when I opened it. I must say that so far I am preferring the form-factor of the shorter gun. I am thinking that I will probably use the shorter gun for plinking and Skeeter loads, and the longer gun for anything heavier. I think for scouting in the woods and ATV riding, the shorter gun will get the nod. I'm certain that a 250gr Keith at 950fps will skewer anything I might encounter in SW Mississippi.
My 5.5 inch Bisley seems to have a quick barrel velocity wise clocking 1246 fps with Matts Bullets coated 255gr Keith and 16.5gr of 2400 . The standard Skeeter load and clone with Power Pistol is much more enjoyable to shoot. The big surprise was Longshot powder, with recoil and velocity between the 2400 load and Skeeters.
I do seem to shoot my 4 5/8 standard model a bit more accurately though, I struggle with consistency with the Bisley grip.

I have about 8 pounds of Longshot. I see that Brian Pierce had some good results with it in some of those older articles. I plan on working up some of the more "spicy" loads with it, for my pistols. Also some (relatively) mild loads for my 44 mag lever gun.
