Just got done cutting up the last of them. I of course had to represent cast boolits with a 45/70 NOE boolit to the noggin. Another guy whacked one in the coconut with a Lyman 525. Talk about lights out.

Thank ye, sir! Feel free to tag more of the beasties!
Rights, and Privileges, are not synonymous. We have the Right to Bear Arms. As soon as the Government mandates firearm registration, and permiting, then that Right becomes a Privilege, and may be taken away at our Master's discretion.
Good Show!!! Gotta love them Noggin Shots!!
We don't have the sheer numbers y'all gots... but, it is Open Season on feral hogs...always!
My next one I'm gonna dose with the 200gr FP out of my bolt action 35 Remington!!

That look on your face, when you shift into 6th gear, but it's not there.
Trying to stop a .45-70 boolit with its head?
That's one stupid hog, and it needed to be taken out of the gene pool anyway.

If you are going to make a hole in something. MAKE IT A BIG ONE!
Thanks for making 27 hogs “good hogs”!
I’m enjoying NOT seeing any here lately!

If there's anything sad about killing feral hogs, it's the fact they're not fit for eating. That, plus how fast they multiply and just how much they can damage land and crops in short order.

They're actually pretty good if ya clean & butcher 'em right.
Starting off with a pressure washer first so you can stand being close to one.

Any pics of your pile of Hogs?
I think the eating part has something to do with what they eat???
Here in southern Arkansas, the hogs are pretty tasty, even the big ones.
Eat'n a lot of wild hogs down in Fl. I was always a cradle robber. I liked the ones 150 lbs or less. The big boars aren't much for table fare. The big sows were good. -06
Sometimes it takes a second box of boolits to clear my head.

I really only hunt the lone boars any more. Its much more effective for me to trap, I get photos when they arrive, call the trap and drop the gates and go back to bed and deal with them in the morning. A .22lr works great, at that point.
Dang, none for me to shoot. Was watching an (pro) Aussie shoot them @200 yds with sub 308W. Interesting (and he is a good shot) sub 308 220 gr has LESS energy and poorer traj than 300 BO 135gr super. Another vid he tried BO supers but missed a few runners as he wasn't experienced with leading, for the BO.
Whatever!
I had trouble hitting them with full power .308 Winchester on the run at 300yds. I got them finally but I sure made a mess of them. My pictures wouldn't upload I'll try again later.
Only killed one wild (feral) hog. Weighed in around 250# and she was plumb delicious. We feed'em good in Alabama ie; corn, soybeans, wheat, chufas. This one was killed in Loundes County just above and west of Montgomery. Hogs are kinda spotty here in NE Alabama. Same can be said of deer, depends on what they have to eat. Farm-fed deer taste just like beef to me but a mountain deer can sometimes taste pretty raunchy.
Hogs can be very good as I like pork sausage anyhow
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.
