Umm, .383 is different than 7.92mm.
.383 would be about 9.7 MM, while the 7.92 is commonly loaded with .323-.325 boolits. NOE makes a bunch of molds in the .321-.328 range, as does Accurate. Check your gun(s) and see what you need to match your bore. If you in fact need a .383 boolit, you may have to check with Accurate and see if he has, or can make, an oversize 38-55 or .375 H&H boolit mold.

For me the "go to" cast bullet for the 8x57 Mauser is the Saeco #081. It's a good mold.
Typo - 9.72 or .383 - Sorry
Montana Bullet Works sells .383" sized 255GR, RNFP bullets for the 38-55. https://www.montanabulletworks.com/p...55-255gr-rnfp/

170 grain for light loads and 196 for nice recoil and surplus ammo of the past. I like the old Romanian. Use good data because commercial ammo is loaded down. Make sure you have a .323 groove in 8 mm Mauser. There was a question about the old .318 bore that made them be cautious. Be sure of what it is and go from there. JS and JRS are not all the same. Slug your bore with a soft lead ball and then measure it.
