Great Question! Perhaps you should ask the maker of your firearm such questions. I cannot know all the parameters around your gun and ammo. Sorry.

yes, but you might be over gassed. Different barrel makers use different sized gas ports. How will you know? brass goes to the next county! Solve that problem with an adjustable gas block.

I only buy pistol length gas systems for 300 blackout regardless of barrel length. If it runs well with subsonic, it will likely be overgassed as mentioned above with supersonic ammunition. You could try switching in a heavy buffer for supers, or better yet, install a click adjustable gas block like the one from Strike industries.
If you run it as is, it might be harsh on the rim of your brass and extractor.
A few rounds probably won’t hurt anything if you want to try it and see.
