So I'm casting a 610 grain .50 bullet for my fast twist muzzleloader. I'm wondering what the limit is on the amount of lube grooves on star dies. Could I get a die made for this bullet?

Lathesmith on here retired last year and is totally out of the business, but he would put more than the standard number of holes in a row and place the row spacing anywhere the customer asked for. The only place that exists (as far as I know) for supplying Star dies is Magma Engineering who make the present day Star sizer. Call them up and ask if they would make a die to lube all 4 of your lube grooves.
I'm making my own star dies on a friends lathe. Or at least attempting to. He's going to provide the expertise. I also managed to snag a like new in box RCBS Lube-a-matic at an estate sale for 30$. I may just dedicate it to the long rifle bullets.
I can make this die for you with custom hole spacing/placing. I make them one at a time. Ain't nothing I won't give effort to.
