...reduced load and cast bullet as per R.Lee handloading manual_ K98k, 8x57IS_
Food is overrated. A nice rifle is way more important.

This is a detailed article that does not include any info on cast boolits for the Garand (only J-words). It also discusses N150 in the Garand & in the end didn't recommend it. The author thought the burn rate was too slow. They admitted that it performed OK, but felt op rod damage was a threat with N150.
Hope this helps. I have a good supply of the VV powders & like you want to use them in my Garands & 03-A3 rifles.

I've used N140 and N135 in 8x57, 7.5 Swiss, 303 Enfield, 7,62 X 53R, 30-06, 308, 7.63x53, and 7x57, using data from the Hornady Manual and VV website data.
N135 and N140 are my go to for the condom covered projectiles.
It's consistent, but a bit on the fast side for cartridges like 7.5 Swiss and 7x57.
I haven't used it with cast and have no data for it.
There is M1 Garand data for N135 and N140 in the Hornady reloading manuals #10 and #11.
May give you an idea where to start. N135 is very close to H4895 and N140 is very close to Varget or Re15.
