I don't have a 3D printer but saw this and thought someone might be interested.

Interesting; but wonder about the ability to withstand pressures from Ignition. The toy plastic caps and Starter Gun Plastic caps I have seen fired and inspected have a tendency for "Blow Out" on the plastic sides. Wonder f this would also be the case for a Percussion Cap.
A variety of "High Tech" 3d Printers are being used for depositing metals to fabricate Aerospace and other items. Wondering when we will see same for the hobbyists where depositing metal instead of Plastics is feasible.

"In the beginning... the patriot is a scarce man, and brave and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot." - Mark Twain.
As Bugs would say, it's like hunting rabbits with an elephant gun. Much simpler methods exist other than using a 3D printer. Way overkill...
While I do enjoy finding useful things to 3D print, I do think I'll pass on those caps.
Agreed, looking forward to a hobbyist level metal 3D printer.
