My family got me this rifle about 5 years ago for Christmas/birthday/anniversary/etc. in 300 PRC. I recently bought the same rifle from a buddy's son who needs some dough. The problem is that the rifle has incredibly poor round pick up and chambering. If you load more than one round in the magazine, the bolt will groove the brass in the following cartridge case. I recall mine doing this and a friend of mine took it and did something to the magazine follower that alleviates the issue - claimed it was very common in this rifle. Unfortunately, that particular friend lost his life shortly thereafter. Anyone have a clue about what he would have done? Followers look identical, follower spring does as well. No, I haven't tried swapping them yet. Curious if he did something to the feed ramp as well - the two do appear slightly different. Photos are not showing what I am seeing or I would attach some. Christensen of course says send it in - which I did with my first one and was told it functioned flawlessly for them.
