I can't speak to a wide range of loadings using Titegroup, but I'm just starting into my 4th 8 pounder of Titegroup in .45acp. The first three were in the 90's and early 2000's, (I shot through 24 lb of HPC-18 surplus in the interim). I was surprised that after 15 years the charge weight and velocity are still virtually identical and still very consistent.
4.8 grains TG behind a H&G #68 @ 1.50 OAL in my 5" 1911 makes major at an Av Vel of 840fps with no individual shot vel ever falling below 820. This was more important in my past when I often traveled out of town for matches where they regularly chronigraphed our loads to make sure we really were shooting "major". It is also a reliable "sweet spot" in my gun landing 10 yard double taps in the A zone more times than not. I have a magnetic LED light that shines directly into the case at the boolit seating station and I would have no trouble seeing a double charge if one ever made it past the powder check die.
It may not be the perfect powder, but it works very well at a reasonable price.
