I couldn't wait for the cooler weather to arrive in south Florida. I was totally out of bullets for my Ruger .480, 41 and 44! This winter I'll cast enough to last a few years and powder coat them as needed.

It's almost time to feed my 8 cavity MP358429 a hot lunch and powder coat twenty pounds of bullets!

You can never have enough! There is still room for more.
Hold Still Varmint; while I plugs Yer!
BAW my storage shelf looks similar to yours, stacked deep and wide. New mould arrived on Friday for some 54 cal Minnie balls for Grandson and his new bp hobby.
I spent all day cutting up and melting down into the one or so lbs. bars I ended up with 92 lbs plus of melted down roof flashing and another 6 lbs. of lead my dentist gave me. I will be looking to stiffen the lead up to about 20-1 so I guess Roto metals will get an order. Any other Idea's I'm all ears? I used WW's for years.
I do most of my casting between the end of hunting season and Spring. Thats also the time that me and a buddy smelt our previous accumulation of scrap.
Cast boolits tonight with the 3 cavity brass hollow point MP clone of the 30 cal RCBS SIL mold.
Yes, there is a "casting season". No body wants to cast bullets in 100 degree heat, but now that the cooler weather is coming it's time to break out the casting pot and the molds. I need to restock my supply of 6.5mm and 7mm bullets. I could probably use a batch of 44's too. I've got plenty of 30 cal., but you can never have too much of those. Looking forward to casting up a mountain of boolits.
I agree, finally got the lead pot warmed up last week, so nice to restock.
