Today I tried the Arsenal Molds 359-130-RF in my gen 5 19.They are sized to .358 with RCBS 80008, seated 1.070 with 3.8 grains HP-38. The gun is factory stock in every way and the rounds plunk quite easily. Accuracy is about the same as my other 9mm pistols with this load. Upon cleaning, I was pleasantly surprised to discover way less fouling than I expected. It's not uncommon for this load to leave little streaks of leading near the muzzle but there was none whatsoever. Love this pistol, best Glock has ever made!

My Glock 49 came with conventional rifling. Shot lots and lots of cast 180 gr RCBS 38-40 WCF (.401") 180 Gr. Flat Nose, Cowboy bullet with no ill effects. Even shoot this out of my Ruger PC 40. Never really messed with cast out of my 17.

The new Glock "Marksman" rifling is very cast friendly, at least in my gen. 5 19 and my two 42's.

I have a Glock 1st generation Model 21 in 45acp that I've been shooting cast from for over 30 years with zero problems. It also is one of the more accurate 45acp's I own and shoot. I was told the real truth, beside the liability lawyers stories, about why Glock says not to shoot cast in their pistols by an industry insider. I'm not going into it here, but can tell you it has something to do with the barrel construction. I've had many other firearms that have had either hexagonal or polygonal rifling and shot cast from them for many decades with zero problems.

Well I’ve owned about 15 Glocks in the past 11 years. I have fired thousands of plated and powder coated bullets without issue. I had a G22 that would shoot plain lead tumble lubed with LLA with zero leading.

It's all good. I just find the 1:16 twist works better with my boolits and loads.

A brand new Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS here.

Mihec 153 grn BB NLG shoots completely clean, I have 300 rounds out of the gun now without any cleaning. VV N340 , sized .356 after PC. Subsonic velocity. I have loaded this for a Tanfoglio Limited for years. Glad to see the same works for Glock. Absolutely clean barrels both. Normal accuracy,whatever that means.

I've used the Accurate 35-115Y in my G17 gen5 Austria pistol for a while now. 7000 rounds. Light charge of VV N-310. Pistol is stock except for a 3.5lb (-) connector. No leading or stripping of PC in the marksman barrel.

So, I went to the fun store yesterday and they had a really cherry Glock 23 gen.4 under the glass. The price was fair so I put it into layaway jail. I haven't had a .40 for quite awhile. The 22 I used to have did really well with the Lee 401-175-TC sized .401 with Tac-X over 3.5 grains of Clays, however that pistol had an LWD barrel and the factory barrel had disappeared before I got it. So, anybody ever try the 401-175-TC in a Glock poly barrel? 3.5 grains Clays is a mild load, around 825 fps I think.

I have ran thousands of cast rounds through a Gen2 G21. And I went against what people were saying about no lead. No lead meant I couldnt shoot as much. There were some guys that boasted, I run lead then I run some jacketed through it to clean it out...!! That's how you blow one up! I used to, if I had cast and jacketed to shoot at the range I would shoot the jacketed first so there would be no chance of pressure spikes with my leaded up range rounds. I had to clean it anyway, so big deal, lol. Besides, 45acp is one of the lowest pressure cartridges they make. The 9mm's that they were blowing up regularly operate at about twice the pressure than a 45acp! Think!

I did eventually get me a Lone Wolf barrel for it and still no problems yet, lol. And I dont make people gasp! about it when I talk about it anymore. They try to warn me with good intentions, but I've thought this through pretty good. Besides, I've never been a 9 Millie man, lol!

I run lead through all my Glocks. Some need water-dropped boolits, some are fine with plain WW. The .45s work great with cast.

I don't recall "any" manufacturer recommending using cast bullets or any reloaded ammunition in their firearms.

Very few if any of us care what the manufacturer say it's ok to shoot in their guns.

So far my new to me 23 is shooting quite well with the Lee 175 sized .401 with 3.8 grains HP-38 at 1.098 OAL. Like other poly barrels this one doesn't have much of a throat, I was loading this boolit to 1.120 in my previous .40. I see no evidence of leading so far, clean up is easy and leaves the bore shiny. Function so far is 100% and accuracy seems to be the same as my pet .38 and 9mm loads. I've never been a big fan of the .40 but I'm really liking this pistol and load!

Chrono'd the load today and it clocks a very consistent 780 fps out of my pistol. Still very accurate and perfect function. I think there will be more .40's in my future!
