Makes no difference.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
Not much difference, I prefer to do them after cleaning, more accurate I think ????
I like the brass to be clean first. 223 is all I swage anymore with a Dillon. The brass seems easier to inspect clean.

Only wet tumbling with the primers already out cleans the pockets. I dry tumble with the primers in, so tumbling makes no difference in my swaging.

I’ll dry tumble, swage, then wet tumble. It helps to keep the cleaning of dies to a minimum.
The sooner I fall behind...the more time I have to catch up with
I wet tumble, remove primers, wet tumble with pins and then swage right before loading. The Lee APP is a powerhouse for swaging
