All of my 2 cavity LEE molds that a bought in the past had the "bars" that aligned the blocks by fitting into a "vee" groove in the opposing bock. I never cared for the system but it seemed to work OK and for the price to try a particular bullet, it wasn't that big of a deal. A couple of weeks ago I bought a LEE 2 cavity mold and it has the more conventional taper pin and ring style of alignment.
Has LEE gone to that style or is it just this particular mold?
Before anyone states the obvious, yes I can contact LEE for the answer but I thought it might be of interest to other users of the 2 cavity molds since I know some folks like to use the LEE molds to convert to HP. With the former style, that was a really huge pain.
