Did Winchester (Moroku) make a single shot 22 Mag rimfire? If not, what would be a good alternative in 22Mag?

Winchester made the M 1885 in most all of the rimfires.

rossi make one...often seen with .410 barrel as a set.
Ive seen a backyard gun tinkerer who took old ,worn single shot .22lrs and re reamed chamber to .22magnum..... not sure this is wisest move as bore would be rather tight....
If you can't find the Winchester you might find a uberti they made a baby rolling block in mag and I think they make or made a low wall copy.
H&R made a version of their single shot in 22 Mag. It WAS inexpensive and shoots excellent. I know they are not making them anymore, but there might be some on the secondary market.
H&R made a .17 HMR, too. It's a fantastic woodchuck getter.
Stevens favorite model 30 if you can find one. I have one in 22mag. It is also a wood stock that was factory camo dipped.

Thanks for the replies.
I ended up with a 17HMR CZ457 suppressor ready, my first HMR. I'm impressed, and with a suppressor is about like a 22lr HV report. If I ever happen across one of the 1885 , I'll probably still try and snatched it up!
In my experience, the 17 HMR beats the .22 Magnum in accuracy hands down. You made a great choice.

Back in the late 1960's Savage made the Model 63KM as a single shot 22 Mag. rifle. I bought one with the Mannlicher stock, mounted an appropriate scope on it and it was cute as a new puppy. However it had some issues. The headspace was loose on this rifle and about 1 in 10 rounds would allow the fired brass to rupture at the ejector slot. Digging those out the chamber was no fun. It got worse when it began blowing out extractors which needed to be replaced. After I replaced the second extractor I sold the rifle and hated to see it go but I had lost confidence in it. I doubt that Savage still has extractors for this model 50 years out from production. I still miss it!
