I was able to pick up another mold that I've wanted for a long time. The RCBS 7-168-SP came back into stock after being sold out for years. RCBS had 2 molds in stock so I grabbed one of them. I've been shooting the rcbs 7-145-Sil, but have wanted a heavier bullet for 7x57 Mauser.

I received this mold but it had taken a fall that made it un useable. I first thought a bent sprue plate. Then discovered Someone had taken a file to the top if the blocks. THEN discovered it was dropped on the corner behind the sprue screw. This allowed the plate to rock and tip exacerbating the file work.
Haven't herd from seller.
But took it to a friend with a Bridgeport and we took about .010 and it didnt remove all damage but cleaned up file work and about 1/2 the dent. It now works pretty well.
Gas checks fit real well.
OAL is now .713 was 7.31 with wonky sprue plate. Bullets drop .412 and 214g with this alloy.

Ordered a Lyman #311299 200gr for a 1896 krag I have coming I will try it in the 300 black out also.
Bill
I ordered and just received an NOE 412-238 WFN for my Marlin 41 magnum FG. I bought a two cavity of this mould here in the classifieds that had one cavity gas checked, one plane based just to see if it would feed through my rifle. It feeds like a champ and shoots extreme well so I ordered a 4 cavity gas checked mould. I’ll cast some with it this weekend if everything goes right.
Got my MP 356-93 Brass 4 cavity from the MP group buy last week. Here is my first bullets to cast. I had keepers on the second cast. Number three pin is sticking a bit so I need to polish it. Other than that this thing is perfect. Casting with 50% COWW / 50% SOWW + 2% Sn. It was a really long wait for this thing. But, I think this will be a great 380 ACP bullet. Its casting around .359.
A local sportsman's auction had several 4 cavity 44 and 38 caliber molds. I bid on the 44's but got outbid on every one.

Lyman 2645715 -715 diameter round ball mold.
LEE Mold 358-148-WC 2 cavity. Thanks for the heads up on Midway having them on sale. This is also my first aluminum mold. Looks like it should work well.
I received Four!!
Seller was a bit confused & listed one as a "44" when its a 45 and another as a 350 RB when its actually a .457. But I wanted a .457 & not bothered by a 45 over a 44.
