Accurate 4100/Ramshot Enforcer is as good as any of them and can be downloaded but it has no flash and fire like a like in 2400 and H110.

Bullseye is the skill, everything else is just games.
I guess I'm old school still use 2400 but, if someone here can show me some tangible better results from the more modern powders I'll listen?

I love 2400 and Unique but due to them being MIA I've started with W296. At least I managed to find a few pounds of it.

I'm going with Accurate #9. Not only does it handle my 263gr. .44 Mag loads, but it is also a top performer in my 10mm with 200gr. loads and the 357 Max with 185gr. loads. . .these are all heavy hunting loads.
The slower a powder is, the less versatile it is. If you don't need absolute top velocities then powders like Accurate 7 & 9, Vihtavuori N105, and Blue Dot become very attractive. They use less powder, have less flash and recoil, don't require magnum primers, provide great accuracy and give you all but the last 50-100 fps. Even in a hunting situation (the only one I can think of that requires great power) the difference between the same bullet at 1300 and 1375 is a very negligible difference. Maybe 5 yards difference in the point blank range trajectory is about it.
I started with a 4" Ruger and H110/296. It would light up the shooting bench but I never got the speed listed in the books because they use 8" receivers with no cylinder gap. I switched to 2400 and been there ever since although I have tried others. I think I still have a $120 Keg from before all this mess when they had Sales on powder.

Mal Paso means Bad Pass, just so you know.
For full power loads, there is no accuracy for me. I love to shoot those heavy H110 loads with jacketed bullets for the experience of detonating a bomb in my hands. Love the concussion and blast but my accuracy falls apart. What I do shoot decently is 10.0 grains of Unique with any 240 to 310 grain cast bullet. Although far from full 44 Mag power, they are well above cowboy loads. I just recently bought a 8lb can of Unique for this reason.
I guess I am old fashioned, but my vote goes to Herco.
