Drill and tap for lock screw if you have room. The easier thing is to very lightly peen the dovetail to tighten the grip…or…I usually sight the rifle then stake in place with a prick punch.
Remove the sight and dimple the surface with a center punch. Blue Locktite is always a good idea GW
Thanks fellas .I should know I need to explain better.T site is not moving in the dove tail .But is moving up or down the notches in the site. Thanks Bob
Might need to remove the sight from the dovetail and bend it down a bit more. This will put more pressure on the elevator once reinstalled.
Good luck.

All rite Sam that sounds like a great idea .And I don’t know why I didn’t think of it.I suppose sometimes we all kneed a little slap to the back of the head .I’m gonna give it a go .If all else fails I will buy a new rear site. Thanks guys
Froogal thanks for the idea may try that also
I cut a piece of brass from a .38 special spent case. I flattened it, then forced it into the gap. The piece of brass was tiny and almost invisible. It was like that when I sold it. I loved the rifle but it jammed every Cowboy Action competition I attended. But the brass fix worked.
