    Snapped the spur screw

Can someone give me a recommendation on who will redrill a spur screw on my core mold. Luckily, it is a round mold so it can be redrilled anywhere. It is a steel mold.

A local machine shop might do so also. You don't need it in the same spot if it's round, just drill and tap a new hole that keeps the hole centered.

Remove the screw with an easy-out and install a new one in the same hole.
I could be wrong - it happens at least daily.

I have drilled numerous snapped bolts but never one that small. I was thinking since it is a round mold, it would be easier and faster to rotate it and drill and tap another hole.

I’ve used left handed drill bits to remove small broken screws. Those bits cut in the reverse rotation. Once they start cutting the bit usually grabs the screw and backs it right out.
