As promised here's the latest one. Not the most pristine but the timing, end play and barrel/cylinder is perfect. A shooter for sure.Attachment 298281Attachment 298282

IT AINT what ya shoot--its how ya shoot it. NONE of us are as smart as ALL of us!
Uberti Cattleman in .357 magnum, before that, Uberti Cattleman in .45 Colt.

Handgun-ish PM63 in 9 Makarov. It's open bolt but semi.. it'll do for now
Ruger blackhawk 4-5/8" 45 convertible.
I've bought 3 in the last couple months.
Sar Usa Sar 9 9mm
Tisas .45 ACP
RIA .Model 200 .38 Special
I've not even fired the Tisas and RIA yet. Need to remedy that soon.
Mrs. Hogwallop up and R-U-N-N-O-F-T.
My close friend decided to let loose of a minty Model 58. It did take many bengies to loosen his grip on it, though.
My search on the SN, came up with it being made in early 1965, about the time I was born...so how could I not procure this beauty?

Just picked up a new (CZ) Colt Python, 4.25 inch barrel. Looks like a very well-made revolver. Trigger pull is not as nice as similar S&W's I own in same caliber. Most likely it will go out for a trigger/action job in the near future.
East Tennessee
I got a well worn S&W model 58. Taking it out later today to see how it shoots.
A new Ruger Flat Top .45 Colt/.45 ACP Convertible Blackhawk. Blued, 5 1/2" barrel.
1877 Colt Thunderer, 41 Colt.
last gun I bought was TISAS/SDS 1911A1 full size duty carry they call it. changed the grip to a hogue, and changed the safety to regular safety vs the ambi safety, that looked to break at any moment.
Been carrying 1911s since I was 17 1/2 and am now 71 be 72 in October. No need to change now
3-4 weeks ago I found a couple; a 4 5/8" Blackhawk in .41 Mag in near-new condition and also a piece for which I've been looking for quite a while; a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan chambered in the very versatile .454 Casull. IMO the standard Super Redhawks are hideously ugly with their barrel design but the Alaskan just has a certain beauty about it.
S&W 2nd model .455 that is now a 45 Colt, very well done and shoots greats.
Within the same week I picked up a little used S&W 2.5" K-Comp and a reasonably used Beretta 92 Compact L. The latter now has a Langdon trigger bar and 14# hammer spring much to its benefit. Both are waiting for a rainless day to go to the range. GF
