Howdy all,
I just made a bunch more brass for my centerfire converted Vetterli and am interested in trying 10B101 as I have a full jug.
I am using the Lee 310gn boolit powder coated and sized to .429, cases are made from Graf's 8mm Lebel brass (worked quite well with proper annealing, primer pockets are tight! But I ran them through my LEE APP press with the large primer pocket swagger so hopefully they will be better).
I also plan on using CCI large pistol primers.
So, anyone give this a try yet? From the 10B101 load thread there is info for .44 mag, but that only goes up to 250gn boolits, am I safe (relatively speaking) to use the maximum load listed of 16.5gns being that the Swiss case is much larger than the .44 mag, and also in a rifle (yes, a very old rifle but still stronger than a revolver)?
I have many other powders to use with data already out there for the Swiss, but would really like to fi d more ways to use this 10B101, it works great in .45ACP, have also used it in other rifle rounds, but just have a feeling it could really shine in the Swiss.
Thanks for any input.
Jeff
