What, exactly, do I have here with 2 ss77 super sizers with different sizing pieces

I have these two. I've had the one on the left for a long time and it has a weird extra arm welded to it. 12ga hull is really difficult to pop in and out of it, but it's squeezes to a the 12ga size

The one on the right I recently picked up. It actually has a '12' on the sizing mandrel/piece. The hulls go in and out a lot easier and it sizes down to 12ga size as well, but I'm not 100% sure it would hit a low brass hull. Just seems like it might not, I haven't actually tested it because I could only find the one hull, the rest of my shotgun stuff is still in storage

I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.

Ok, I know they're super sizers. But why are the mandrels different?

    Greetings,

Perhaps one is 12 Gauge and the other 16 Gauge?

    Are the collets marked?

    Cheers,

    Dave

one is out of adjustment. think there is a nut under the thing that adjusts the crimp, would have to go look at mine to be sure. after I started using mine, all the shells that were hard to chamber went away because it sizes the base that the loader does not get.

They have to be different gauges. It appears from the photos that both collets have the same OD but different ID.

I'll have to check that out, not super familiar with these

I don't have a 16ga shell anywhere, but both close up tight on a 12ga hull
