Today, my father lost his battle with Alzheimer's. He was diagnosed in 2016 and had gone down dramatically in the past year, so not sudden. He passed peacefully in his sleep, in his own bed, so about all any of us can hope for. Please keep my mother in your prayers. She is a tough lady, but next Monday is their 58th anniversary so this is going to be hard on her.
