Raining out so I was poking around the closet and found 2lbs of Universal hiding behind some Trailboss so loaded up some 125gr HP Berrys over 4.5 gr Universal in some 38sp brass for target.

I set up the bench primer to reseat all the CCI SPP I seated by hand with the RCBS hand primer. I had 5 FTF out of 80 rounds of 9mm when I was over in AZ. Ran them back through the gun and all 5 fired the second time. This is in a striker fired glock. I just don't have the touch (or grip) to seat them by hand I guess. The bench primer should "set them straight". It's taking out some of the primer's dome and setting them a couple thousandths below. Thought FTF was a wheel gun problem. LOL

Mal Paso means Bad Pass, just so you know.
I pulled down 10 .450 Marlins and reused the primers and 4198 to load some 30-30s- a transplant operation.....

I got "paid" for a waaay overdue bill with a box of mystery reloads that weighs around 50#. Started the boys sorting by caliber before I left for work. Hoping to start breaking them down for components this week.

Building 12 ga cas loads as I was down to my last few boxes. Trying a jug of something different: Alliant Extra Lite. Using a #408 powder bushing-3/4 oz shot bushing with a turn of blue painters tape in it to reduce the id- #9 shot and a CB 0125 pink wad. I always add a 5/8 dia overshot card punched from primer sleeve boxes. Also do a plunk test as I make them as I have a Marlin bbl hanging under the loader. Do all this on an old blue Bair/Pacific press. Built 75 this morning. They feel about the same as my Clays or Clay Dot load.
Got those done now I’m doing 2 inch 12 ga shells. 25 done, 50 to go.

I cast with two alternating two cavity moulds. My oldest and newest Lees; 358 150grSWC and 401 175gr TCTL. The new one works fine, I hope it lasts like the oldest one has.
I shaked and baked them burnt orange.

Not really in the loading room but loading related!
The oldest Grandson and I moved 750-800 pounds of lead ingots from one side of the shop to the other. They had been sitting out in the floor since our last smelting session and needing to be stamped and moved to the corner with the rest of the stash. So we stamped WW on the wheelweights and PB on the soft lead and got it moved.
I loaded 50 rounds of 32-20 with a Lyman 311-008. Now with hunting season behind me it’s time to get back to some fun shooting.
I have been planning and studying and getting ready to cast my first boolit. Seem like a good place to start was to slug my barrels of intended use. So using the idea I found somewhere of pouring soft lead sinkers into spent brass and using that plug for slugging the barrel. Seems to work really good learned a few things along the way, like they come out pretty close to the size of the boar so I squeezed him in the vise just a tiny bit to get them up about 10,000s over. Now that I have the size of the three pistols I intend to use for lead someday I’m thinking that I need to go at least one probably 2000s over. My 10 mm being .401 and.4015 I’m thinking I need to go to .402 and.403 and wondering how I’m gonna find a mold and size to that diameter. If you have suggestions please pm or link me to a thread thanks.
Got some nice 400 & 500 grain 45-70’s last night..

loaded up 150 x 357 mag nice to relax now Christmas is over and my wife has calmed down .
Loaded another 30, making 80 rounds total of 303british, with the lee 90gr tumble lube 314 truncated cone, a WLR primer, 5gr Vectan AS. They run 1365fps and, real accurate out of my old enfield rifle.
Ordered some once fired brass a couple weeks ago an unfortunately lots had crimped primers. I've always stayed sway from crimped primers in the past but with everything so hard to find today that sometimes you have to go with the flow. Anyways time to buy a primer pocket swager. Trip down to Sportsman's fixed me up with a new RCBS primer pocket swager. Considering it was my first try everything went fine, meaning I didn't break anything. I swaged 100 pcs of 7.62x39 and 200 pcs of
223/5.56. Then I popped all the primers plus another 100 pcs of 9mm. Tomorrow all go into the S/S pin tumbler. Then they'll be sized, trimmed and deburred an ready to be reloaded.

I gave up! I tried to clean some 30-30 brass with citric acid and then tumbling with dry media. Finally ordered a FART to go with the pins I already had. C'mon Midway. After yrs of shooting nasty looking ammo, I enjoy the super clean look of wet tumbled brass. I guess I am sort of like a raccoon, if it shines, I like it. Must be why the black wheels on new cars and trucks turns me off!
