I have backordered several times recently and it has worked out well.
I have backordered several times recently and it has worked out well.
It has worked out for me to , except its been close to 9 months on the 40-65 , but I have a few 45-70 converted so I will wait .
Sometimes when on a waiting list, I am surprised how soon the item is available. Other times it never becomes available, or after I have forgotten about it and found something in its place.
im needing some long 38/55 how do u get on a back order list.
Go to Starline , click on rifle brass , if it shows in brown you can backorder , click on it and order quantity desired , you will be on backorder , if it takes longer then a few months they will contact you to resubmit payment information , good luck .
I think they use the back order for lower use brass to know when they have enough with some overrun for stock to justify making a run of it. A lot of the older calibers arnt high demand and last longer than he high intensity modern ones.
The way it is worded I thought that they were taking all orders EXCEPT back orders.
Ordered c45s [45 Cowboy Special] brass many months ago and they showed up last week with no email notifications or anything just surprise!
Same here Ed. Ordered some 45 Cowboy, listed as out of stock but backorderable. Shipped next day, arrived today, 2 days later. Funny as it showed OOS when I ordered. I'll take it.
Ordered 222 Remington two months ago, still no word. Hope it makes it for prairie dog hunt this spring.
Back in June I ordered .45-70 and .45-90, both on backorder. The .45-70 got here in about a month, still waiting on the 90.
The Starline folks are good people. Have met them in person a few times.
Been waiting over 3 months for my .41 magnum brass. Maybe someday.
Make no mistake -- They will remember how easily you surrendered your rights.
I back ordered 450 Bushmaster and 223 Rem Basic brass in early November, to my surprise a week later the 450 Bushmaster brass was on my step. The 223 basic basic brass has showed no sing. but it will pop up at some point.
Well, I got an email with a UPS tracking # so my wait for 45-70 brass was about a week. At my age, 250 of em should be a lifetime supply. Gone are the days of accumulating brass by purchasing factory ammo.
