NOE makes my favorite design in that caliber, and they are in stock.
Tapered nose works great in bolt actions.

Minnesota.
Many Foreign 6.5 Mil Surp rifles need a .270" boolit.
I never heard of .270 Remington.

Are you talking about a Remington rifle chambered in 270 Winchester? You would be looking for a mold that casts around .279-.280
I use an Ideal #280412 - 130gn which is perfect in my custom 270 Savage. Sized to 0.279" with PC & GC.
Hold Still Varmint; while I plugs Yer!
I use the Lee 277 mold in my 270 Winchester. Works great. I havent played with other molds.... you know... money and all.

Best mould for the money .... well I hate to say it but I always give the new Lee moulds a "shot" first .
A double cavity , with handles for $28.99 at Midway ... you might have to wait for them to get in but at that price point you can play with cast boolits while deciding what eaxactly you want / need in a more expensive mould . I have also found most lee designs to be quite servicable ..
I'm not a big fan of the tumble lube designs but that's just my old school self being old school .
I have at least one Lee mould for every rifle , revolver and pistol I own .

well here is what you will find. i would not try a 279 in a win 70 it wont chamber
if you have a tight chamber like one i have 277 is only thing that will feed
the Lee i had was 278 it will size to 277 but will not chamber in a win 70 unsized
My throat measures .280 inch. Has a nice transition into the riffling. I size to .280. Quick pound cast will tell you what you can handle.

The 270 150 from RCBS has given me the best accuracy.
