Do you think anyone will bid on this one?

More power to the seller if someone bites. Someone paid $175 for a thousand Federal small rifle match primers last week on gunbroker, so this mold would be a bargain.

Sprue, you are generally right, but using a link to point out stupidity is sometimes acceptable.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

I think probably not but the stupidity on ebay never ceases to astonish me. He is starting too high though. I have noticed a lot of items may end up high after they get caught up in the auction but when they start real high allot of times they won't get a bid.

I may be old and tired, but the example bullet doesn't look quite the same as picture of the mold interior.
    Anybody biding on this?

IIRC Ebay links are prohibited in the Swapping and Selling section. If someone finds and article other might be interesting in or something unusual it's been accepted practice to link to the auction. The idea was that members here not be hawking their auctions on this site, not that an odd item couldn't be noted.

Not to mention, I'm pretty sure it's not the posters (CSH) item for sale.

Just MHO. I am in no way an authority or a mod or anything to this board.
Come and take them, Boolits first.

No, I'm not the seller, but I'll wish I was if someone bids on it.

have you noticed the large number of NEI molds for sale on that site? You had best know what you are bidding on especially quality wise.
I have been watching the price on several sites sells primers they are going through the moon and it just doesn't make sense to me. Oh well as I go and pay $40-60 for primers when my dealer has them. But I will not pay close to $200 for a thousand not yet any ways.

Some of those NEI moulds were our group buys rejects. They were being sold "as is" on Ebay before the corrected NEI moulds moulds reached the honcho. A dubious business practice IMHO, and quite illustrative.

    Caveat emptor.

I had been told that by someone here in our group and just think it speaks volumes to the honesty of the one selling seconds or cast offs as quality merchandise. Sad as they used to be a good source but then so did Redding and others. Seems that the greed that hit wall street has hit a lot of people.
I am so glad I found this site and a couple of others on firearms. I learn so much even when I am right that it is so much fun to come and learn and know that others just want you to be safe.
