Sounds about right. It took 2 tumbles to coat and the first one looked like about 5% coverage. They work pretty good as 9mm blasters but I think I'm going to get another powder from smokes or Eastwood to shake and bake with going forward.

A little late to the party but this is my first attempt at powder coating.
These are with Smokes blue powder
Some samples, 450 grain 50 cal eastwood ford blue and the other, 200 gr 45 cal mix of white and blue.

4:1 gloss clear n black Smokes powder. Shake n bake, stood up in silicone mini ice cubes tray.

I have a few thousand .358 hollow base wad cutters on hand and shoot them in my custom 1911 .38spl. The problem is they lead the throat of the barrel so I decided to clean and PC some to see if it will stop the leading.

Looks like the good old H&G #50. That has long been a family favorite and I can attest to PC makes those work perfectly but I only shoot it in revolvers. Are those the Miha clone with the hollow base option or an original? Curious if the hollow base option might give you better results.
