SIL’s dad invited me to fish Saturday while we were visiting the kids. Left the dock at 1pm. Two hours later we were heading in with 30 walleye, one steelhead and two lake perch. Biggest about 25”. Lost a big steelhead to a netting error. The Steely we kept didn’t have the clipped fin that would indicate it had been planted. Fish were cold when they came in, still alive when we cleaned them. I ate too many walleye as a kid to really like them now.

Lake Erie walleye fishing, some of the best fun. Watch out for quick storms, can go from calm to very choppy in minutes.

Lot of fun and every once in a while a sheepshead shows up to give you a little fight.
