This was originally Smoke's clear. It got some italian non-tgic gold powder mixed some time ago. I don't think there was anything else.
I then added black today and got a surprise colour.

62chevy. Ot started out as an accident. Kind of like a lot of inventions.
Had a batch of 457 350 in the oven while casting some more. Hit the timer wrong and by the time I realized my mistake 35 minutes at 400 degrees had passed. Best looking bullets I ever baked.
So tried that again with some 454 290 same result. Next tried 454 230 hps at 30 minutes same result. They came out super slick.
Have not had time yet to try it on some say 150 or so 30 call but will as time permits

My first attempt at casting and powder coating. Lee 124 grain tumble lube mold.
Prior to these, I loaded up 10 rounds bare and alox lubed to see if my soft side range lead would...well...not lead. It seemed like it was going to so I picked up some black from Harbor Freight.
Seem like the ended up OK so I think ill go shoot em tomorrow.

Please don't take what I'm about to say as putting your work down, because that is not my intention.
The matte black from HF really needs to be applied with an electrostatic gun (ESG) for good results. Here's what that HF Matte Black can look like if applied with the HF ESG.
The HF red does better, but still isn't a really good powder.
First batch of Eastwood Ford Light blue ready for field trials:
These are moulded from RCBS 185 grain BB SWC mould. Water quenched after casting and after pc baking. Used COWW from the old days.
PC coating was complete and fairly uniform using swirl and bake method with no bb’s or lead pre-heating.
Fingers crossed there’s no barrel leading!

I used to play with the colors...
Then discovered what I call 'old lead' PC ... 1/2 mix of white & black gloss ... I'm done with colors now.
The color changes a bit as you refresh your PC bucket but they still look like old oxidized lead to me...
