True, unless you have a ton of printers or you are doing very small parts. A friend of mine who got me into printing has been making disposable razor blade handles for a local factory. He can print 50 at a time and it takes about 4 hours, they've been having him make about 200 a month and have been paying him $4 a piece for them. It costs him maybe $1 in material to make 50 of them.
Another guy who I've seen on facebook has about 50 printers in his garage, he is making cookie cutters and selling them like crazy. I mainly got my printer to do little knick knacks and I've made a few useful things. I bought mine back in 2018 for $250 and have had no problems with it.

Pretty impressed and a bit jealous that you just grabbed a free cad program and did that. Just can't get the motor started to actually sit down and learn freecad. Need to find a good tutorial to learn it. Nice job.
