I received my JES rebored 336c in the mail the other day, had it done in 38-55. Gives me another option for the grandkids to use for deer. I shot it a couple times after a quick cleaning with my handloads of 24 gr. of R7 and the Lee 250 gr fn sized to .378 (as I already had this die) and short Winchester brass...they didin't want to chamber all the way I had to really squeeze the lever to get it closed. The two rounds I did fire leaded severely. Jes did say to size cast to .376- .377 and he mentioned Winchester ammo and Buffalo bore ammo is ok to shoot. I give him a call and he said basically my boolits are too fat...so I have a .377 die coming in the mail as well as some Win. ammo... Now to get the action slicked up a bit, the rifle is still almost new I bought about 12 years ago with maybe 30 rds of ammo shot thru it.
