I was at my LGS today. He had accurate #2 for 30.00 out the door. How do others like it?

It's in the same class as W231, HP38 and Bullseye. Used for about 5 years. Worked okay in 38/357 light loads.
I'm using mine for regular and +P loads in my 9mm.

9mm, 45 acp, 32 H&R and some 38 special. I found BE to be more accurate in my 38's and it was too fast for what I wanted in the 40.

I have been using it for 28 years. It's my go to powder for 9mm.
I have used it for years in my .45 ACP
Using Lead Hard Cast, 185, and 200 SWC

Used it before, was happy with it.
Using it in a 38 special wadcutter load. I like it, works well. Lee 148gr TL on top of 3.0gr AA no.2.
Im going to grab a pound of it tomorrow. Thanks again.

I bought a pound of Accurate #5 and liked it so much I went back and got a pound of Accurate #2 for target loads . #5 was a tad slower than Unique so good for heavier loads ... #5 scoops and flows through a measure easily . I'm hoping #2 will be like Bullseye and Red Dot burning rate wise ... I have some 38 special WC's all loaded and ready with #2 ... then pandemic closed our range and I haven't been able to shoot them but I'm expecting good things . Accurate #2 is also fine grained and scoops/measures easily ... now if the accuracy is there ... we will have a winner ! Have a few things to take care of and hope the range has reopened ... been a coon's age since I last was able to shoot ...dang pandemic... I hate it !

I agree with the prior poster that put it in the same category as WW231. I used Accurate #2 for a while and found it to be a fine powder for 38 Special. It didn't do anything that WW231 [HP-38] couldn't handle, so I went back to my old (at that time) stand-by of WW231.
I would happily use AA#2 if I needed to and it was available. And like the others said, it meters well.
I use 2,5 & 7 all in 9mm

Right now buy what you can get, and make it work. What you really want is what everyone else has already bought and is no longer available. I watched a 5# jug of Trail Boss sell for $500 on GunBroker the other day! For that I WILL have to find something else................
I'm trying it out so far in 22-250 cast, and 9mm and .41 mag ( special level) cast loads.
It leaves some funky olive residue in the fired cases, I noticed. If it keeps me from using up my Bullseye, I'm cool with that.
6 grains of #2 with the Lee TL210 SWC in the .41 helped me out today by making me grin as I broke some clay birds into little pieces. Take that, Covid.

I used a pound or two of it also. When the Accurate powders first came out they were at introductory prices, and lower than the others. I went back to W231, too, and it's been my standby "fast" pistol powder since the early 90s.
As others have said, if it's in the range of powders you'll use then get it.
you can shoot a whole bunch of 9mm, 380, 38spl and others with a pound of it
