It's a great way to unwind after deer season, fall clean up, Christmas, etc.
I started converting some 243 range brass to 6.5 Creedmoor, gonna finish it up today. I looked it up here and other sites and it's easier than I thought it would be.
Organized powders...
Thought I had some of what I wanted and found extra of what I dont...

Cast a bunch of my normal 40s (NOE HTC-402 WFN). It's a 2 cavity mold with the pins... So casting is slow going.
Then I busted out the new Accurate 40-180BG... It's a 5 cavity aluminum mold - it's amazing how fast a pot goes with one of those...

Loaded 60ea. 32-40 and sized/lubed some gifted .44 old casts
Loaded 600 rds of 9mm/135gr so I could set up for some .38 special on my PiggybackII, all set up and about 30 rounds complete that's enough for the day.

After moving, I´ve been living on the stash of boolits for a year now.
Finally I got my casting corner up and running!
A stable bench with storage and worksurface, a dual hotplate where I pre melt ingots so that I can fill the drip o matic with lead close to the casting temp. That keeps the flow going..
The other stoveplate is good for preheating moulds. An exhaustfan from a kitchen provides both light and extracts fumes. PID both for the pot and the Star lubesizer.
Also smelted about 150 kg of Lino and 5kg of pewter into ingots.
For that I use a propane cooker and a cut off propane tank as a pot, not shown here..
Running range pickup 40's through Lee bugle buster on a snowy day.
tried out my new 30-06 SB sizing die, had way to many cases that wouldn't size due to what I am thinking is the "garand" bulge. Worked awesome should be able to now use about 400 cases i have that wouldn't fit in the case checker!!

Did a much needed straightening up of my bench and then finished loading up about 400 primed .308 cases from Everglades Ammo. These had been pulled down because about 7% of the rounds had a slight fold and split on the neck. Lake City brass. Used a 160 grain gas checked and tumble lubed over 17 grains of 2400. These travel close to 1700 fps. and are quite accurate.
Got about 300 once fired 30-30 cases that I will be loading with a 165 grain plain base RD boolit over 15 grains of 2400. Just seems like a good time to lay in some ammo.
