If you are referring to Vance Outdoors in Ohio they started selling guns in Columbus around WWII and now have 4 large stores around the state. They are a pretty large company and still family owned I think. They are big enough to have some buying power and they usually have a good inventory. Their prices aren't the lowest around but not the highest either. I've never heard any complaints about them.

I have dealt with them for many years, not always the lowest prices but not stupid high priced either. I am at their store in Hebron, Oh at least 2 to 3 times a month
Bought a few guns there, never a problem. They support the Blue Line discounts and my local Ranger department also buys there, so I assume they are good to go.
