I have had the rifle for going on two years it’s is so much fun to shoot and have fun with. The wood is unbelievable and it is accurate. I bought a 270 grain CG WFN mould from Accurate so I can developer good hunting load for this rifle. The boolit has a wide meplat and is really an ideal weight. My goal was to get to 1200 FPS from the Rifle. I will mention I also mounted the forward Skinner peep on this rifle it is fantastic to work with and in my personal opinion a great improvement. The group is from 50 yards from the bench and certainly is some good accuracy I averaged 1184 FPS for a 10 shot group measured with LabRadar. The load is dose of Universal and the case web measurement expansion was the same as the low power factory loads. The brass was all Starline. The alloy was 17 lbs plumbers lead to 1.5 lbs printers Linotype. Gas checks are Hornady the lube was RCBS. This load shoots equally well in my Henry 45 Colt carbine. Really looking forward to testing these in water soaked news print although I do not think I need much expansion anyways. But some won’t hurt.
