no, the 93 should be the same, but Sarco will have a 96 so it will be right.
Mausers of nearly every model have been made by manufacturers throughout the world. some models will interchange with others. the earlier Loewe/DWM and Mauser Werke guns are usually interchangeable as long as the model uses the same parts.
the 1898 was a complete redesign of the earlier mauser actions and basically none of the parts interchange with the older models.
the 1896 is a weirdo when it comes to mausers and while most 1893 parts will fit most of those parts floating around today were pulled from spanish made 1893s and ratty Turk 1893s.

If the 96 is a swede,it will have a rib on the bolt,and no "stepped" 93 or 95 extractor is any good.
