I was given some Winchester brass for the Krag marked "super speed 30 ARMY" I wonder how old it is. When did Winchester stop marking Krag brass this way?

That might be the attempt the us army made to match be ballistics of the 7×57mm Mauser
Your Krag brass headstamped Super Speed .30 Army may be pre-WW2.
1950s Postwar Winchester brass I have is headstamped WRA .30-40 Krag
The ENEMY is listening.
HE wants to know what YOU know.
Keep it to yourself.
I have 1955 / 1956 ammunition hearstamped the same. I think Super Speed was a marketing statement by Winchester.

That came in a wide variety of names!!! Pre-1903 it was 30 Government, 30 Army, 30 USA, 30US, and of course 30-40 Krag later on. I have a whole pile of differently headstamped brass somewhere.....
