    do-dad i made tonight

well i searched for a round counter, came up with some threads on the pedometer thingy. well i was like a kid in a candy shop. all gooo goo for something to do. LOL :roflol:

well i went down to the radio shack bought the switch, went down to china-mart and bought a soldering gun, solder, wire and a 12 pack. went out to the garage and started to russel thru my redneck parts. came up with a nylon bolt, hose clamp, metal and sliver from hell.

well after a few hours later one broken bottle, 3rd degree burn and a few choice words when i stabbed myself under the finger nail with a finish nail.... well it finally came together.

heres a few pics of it.

    pedometer

    switch

    torn apart

    inside soldered

    and a test run

Dillon used to make them, and they're still out there. Of course they're not electronic, so you miss out on the third degree burns

I'm not electronically smart enough to build one of those. All that wire and electricity and I think I'd have an electronically detonated 550B.

I like it....particularly the nice little "beep". Makes you develop a rythm! You really could have used heavier wire though...................

I'm glad it works for you. Interesting concept. Looks like a Boatswain's Mate did the soldering, though...

So are you just reloading one caliber of ammo on that 650?

I have heard you can go to a farming supply store and rig up a hay/straw bail counter to do the same thing.

    Thumbs up

Never mind the kibitzers, sometimes we just build things for ourselves because we want to. Thumbs up.

Forget the negatives, I like it and it shows what a person who thinks can do for himself!! The Dillon counters on evil-bay have been selling like hot cakes and people paying $50 and up for a $7 mechanical part. Good going CJ

    Colby,

    1. That's very clever.

    2. You have way too much time on your hands.
