That is awesome, I am wanting to try the copper color out when I do powder coating for the first time. I figure if I get to pick the color might as well look like a j-word to avoid any undue attention. Does anyone have a pic of a loaded cartridge? Maybe next to a factory offering for comparison?
Is this good for shake and bake?
Yes it is

Theres a fine line between genius and crazy .. I'm that line
and depending on the day I might just step over that line !!!
I got the translucent copper and on the first coat it came out more translucent than copper. However, a second coat produced bullets like those in the pictures and look great. Kind of an old penny look. Am I doing something wrong or are two coats of this powder normal? The first coat is fully covered as you can see and feel the clear coat, just not much color. I am tumbling these for several minutes in a vibratory dry tumbler. The boolits appear fully coated before toasting.
may need to shake longer. Just keep in mind it will never be a solid/opaque color

I left some in the tumbler for almost 15 minutes. They are completely covered to the point of excess. 1st coat is almost clear and second gives a nice copper finish like in the pictures. I don't mind coating them twice, I just didn't know if there was a trick to getting it on the first try.
Has anyone tried a first coat of Orange-Brown and then a coating of Translucent Copper?
