Just bought a flintlock 65 cal. Where can I get some balls for it. Can I use fff instead of ff? Just use less?

I'M FROM THE GOVERNMENT....I'M HERE TO HELP!!
.65 ?
That is a Hand Cannon.
Who made it ?
My next project down the line is a Blunderbuss maybe in 4 bore.
I might buy a sailboat now that I am retired, and need to have protection against Pirates.
HI Life Member,
I can cast a .645 RB.
Check your Bore size, as you might be able to use a raw ball and over powder wad or a paper patched.
It could possibly be large enough with this ball to use some ticking.
PM me if you want, i log in everyday.

You may need to order a Tanner mold.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
