From the pot to the field

Took a break from casting to run a few boolits through the lube/sizer.
What we have here are 405gr. pure lead, 4 lube grooves, sized to .457.
70grs. of Goex FF dropped through 24 inch drop tube. Card over powder
(7/16 punch and folder paper) crimped in the top lube groove for an A.O.L.
of 2.605 in. Pouring rain today and it pisses the wife off if i shoot B/P in the house. So.....will punch some paper tomorrow or Saturday. Shooting
a vintage 1873 trapdoor.......THE PAST COMES ALIVE!!!! Good thing there
are no buffalo on the east coast.

PS. Using molds from our friend Willbird on the lend/lease program,
    Thanks Bill.
    I pour, therefor I am.

..............The smoke and the sound is partial payment and a good part of the fun. A little accuracy thrown in makes it all just a tad better . I have a Snider MkII** and I can pretty well hit the 100 yard berm with it. Not always but often! However, with it I never went in assuming any really good accuracy. Shooting it is kind of like firecarackers. You're just doing it for all the sensory aspects

Knowledge without understanding is a dangerous thing. For a little knowledge entices us to walk its path, a bit more provides the foundation on which we take our stand, and a sufficient amount can erect a wall of knowledge around us, trapping us in our own ignorance.

    Never sleep, never die

Knowledge is easy to get, but worthless if you never use it. However the info is free, so the only person you have to blame is yourself if you chose not to use the information.
